Team up with your best friends and show how much you know

Students in years 5-8 and high school students: How many times have you heard the sentence When I was your age… from your parents or grandparents? And no matter how many times this sentence was followed by a long, perhaps even a boring story, most of you surely enjoy listening to the anecdotes your loved ones associate with school.

And are you ready to do something you will one day share with your children? Something they will be proud of and will remember you by; something that will make you even closer to your best friends.

Create a team and register for an interesting problem solving competition

Test your abilities and win valuable prizes

Brainfinity is a problem solving competition for both elementary school students in Years 5 through 8 and high school students who wish to solve unusual puzzles and fight for valuable prizes. In just a few steps, you can register and become a part of Brainfinity.

Your team must have 4 members and a teacher-mentor.

However, your team needn’t consist only of your classmates. You can mix your teams to include 5th graders, 6th graders or 7th graders and high school freshmen., as long as it has precisely 4 members and 1 teacher.

Think of an original team name

After you’ve created your team, we suggest you all sit down and think of an interesting team name for Brainfinity. Play around with your names, your hometown, throw in a joke or two in the mix, add some numbers… If you register a team name that has already been taken, you will be informed and asked to change it.

There are no limits when it comes to your team name.

Find a teacher-mentor

Each Brainfinity team must have a mentor.

The mentor doesn’t have to be a math teacher. You can choose any teacher you can rely on. The mentor will boost your confidence and provide you with advice and moral support throughout the competition.
